I like those relationships where its not all serious. You can play around with each other, but when you need to be serious, you’ll be serious. I want a relationship where we can each other nicknames and only we’ll know about, or even jokes that we’ll know. I don’t care if your friend finds out the nickname, or the joke. They won’t know the story behind it, so it sucks for them. But I just want a playful relationship. To be honest, those are the best relationships out there.

Holding hands might just be the cutest thing ever. It’s such an intimate gesture, yet innocent at the same time. When you feel their hand touching the palm of yours it’s like the entire world is at your fingertips at that moment. And even better, the first time two people ever hold hands, is precious. When the person nudges at your hand and eventually slides their fingers interlocking with yours and you feel your cheeks getting warm, turning a shade of rosy pink and your heart pounding like drums. When they grasp on so tight like it would be impossible to let you go. How their hand just seems to fit right into yours as if it was meant to be that way. So beautiful and satisfying with a rush of different emotions. And just with the knowledge that your hands are linked together makes your hearts even fonder and you can literally feel how close you are to each other.

marriage. what a dream. from watching “my big fat greek wedding,” one of the other thoughts i had were…what it’ll be like when i’m about to get married. i can imagine my mom, my sister, cousins, and friends coming up with a billion plus one ideas for every single aspect of my wedding; driving me crazy. i picture myself shopping for my wedding dress. i imagine wearing a floral tiara round my head, wearing a beautiful simple gown barefoot on the beach shore where i’d have my wedding.

that moment in my life that is probably the most important, one of the most memorable, and beautiful because it’s the first day out of hopefully many that i’ll spend my life with a special someone. we’d be devoted to one another, love one another unconditionally, work to the best of our ability to be together and raise a family of our own.

a family of my own. one of the things i’ve always wanted since i was a little girl.
